HOW TO CARE FOR JEWELS BY B JEWELRY

To prolong the life of your Jewels By B jewelry, keep your jewelry safe and looking its best by following these simple tips.

By being mindful of when you wear your jewelry, you can prevent unnecessary damage.
Remember, taking a few extra seconds to remove your jewelry can make a big difference in its longevity.
Avoid your new piece(s) from coming into direct contact with hand sanitizer, harsh chemicals, chlorine, perfumes, body sprays and lotions. This is especially important for our gold-plated items, which are more prone to oxidation and tarnishing.
When you are not wearing your jewelry, we suggest you store it in your original pouch and keep it in a cool, dry spot to maintain it's shine and also to prolong its life.

HOW TO CLEAN STAINLESS STEEL JEWELRY?

Pour some warm water in a small bowl, and add some mild dishwashing soap such as DAWN.
Dip a soft, lint-free cloth in the soapy water, and then gently wipe the stainless steel jewelry with the damp cloth until the piece is clean. Rub the cloth along the jewelry. Be sure to go along the grain, not across it. If you rub across the grain lines, you risk scratching your jewelry.
Wipe the remaining soap off your jewelry using a moist cloth dipped in clean water.
Use a soft-bristled toothbrush to scrub any grime from detailed areas. Again, go with the grain, not across it. Avoid scrubbing any gemstones, however, or you will risk scratching them.
Dry the jewelry well with a clean towel, and then leave your pieces to air dry.

HOW TO CLEAN STERLING SILVER JEWELRY?

Clean with Baking Soda

Mix two parts baking soda to one part water to make a paste, then gently rub the mixture onto the jewelry. Let the paste dry completely to remove the tarnish. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth or microfiber towel.

Clean with Vinegar and Baking Soda

Mix 1/2 cup white vinegar and 2 Tbsp. baking soda together, then let your silver jewelry soak in the mixture for two to three hours before rinsing and polishing.

However to ensure the longevity of your jewelry, we recommend removing it before engaging in any activities that may subject it to abrasion, such as swimming, dishwashing, etc.

We also advise to protect your jewelry from extreme temperatures, whether hot or cold, and to avoid storing it for prolonged periods in excessively dry or humid environments.
